Thank you for visiting Love in Every Face. This website serves as a digital sanctuary dedicated to highlighting human connection, compassion, and our shared humanity. These Terms & Conditions are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and legally secure space for our entire community. By using our website, exploring our digital creations, or sharing your creative work with us, you agree to these terms.

Section 1: Website Use & Intellectual Property

This website contains the creative heart of our mission. All content featured here—including our cinematic short films, original music, photography, journal entries, and written words—is protected by copyright laws and belongs to Love in Every Face, Inc. or our co-creators.

  • Our Registered Marks: Love in Every Face®, Love’s Vision®, Love’s Chorus®, Reveal the Miracle® and the heart/circle/star icon® are trademarks of Love in Every Face, Inc. You may not use these marks, our logo, or our brand identity in connection with any product, service, or public platform without our prior written consent.
  • Sharing Our Media: We love when our media inspires others! You are welcome to share links to our public presentations, embed our public films, or share our social media posts, provided that you credit Love in Every Face and do not alter the content, use it for commercial purposes, or imply our endorsement of any external organization.

Section 2: Content Submission Guidelines

Thank you for sharing your love and kindness with us. By offering your photos, stories, music, or other heartfelt expressions, you join a community revealing love’s presence through shared creation. These terms are designed to ensure transparency, protect everyone involved, and help us bring Love’s Vision presentations—and the many forms of shared love within them—to life.

We take your privacy, creations, and intentions seriously. All submissions are reviewed as part of our co-creative process to ensure they align with our mission of revealing the love and kindness shared with each other. We reserve the right to decline submissions that do not meet these guidelines.

1. Ownership and Permissions — You confirm that you own all rights to the content you share, or have obtained the necessary permissions from any copyright holders (e.g., photographers, musicians, or collaborators). If your submission includes identifiable individuals, you affirm that you have obtained their permission to share their likeness.

2. Grant of License — By submitting your content (“Content”), you grant Love in Every Face, Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, display, perform, and create derivative works from your submission in any media, now known or hereafter devised. This includes limited sublicensing to our service providers and platforms (such as Vimeo, YouTube, web hosts, and social media platforms) solely for the purpose of displaying or distributing the Content in connection with Love in Every Face’s mission.

These rights include, but are not limited to:

  • Love’s Vision presentations (e.g., Faces of Love, Stories of Love, HeartScapes, Kindred Creatures, Nudges of Love).
  • Love in Every Face’s website, newsletters, and email communications.
  • Organic social media posts (including Stories, Reels, and carousels).
  • Paid promotional materials and digital advertising (e.g., Facebook/Instagram Ads, Google Ads), as outlined in Section 5.

Nothing in these Terms obligates Love in Every Face to use your submission, and no compensation is owed for the permissions granted.

3. Use of Name, Likeness, and Identification — By submitting content, you grant Love in Every Face the right to use your name, likeness, image, voice, and identifying information in connection with your submission. This may include crediting you by name and, where appropriate, tagging your social media handles. If you wish to remain anonymous for a particular project or use, please make that request when you submit your content or when invited to participate in that specific work. Anonymity requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and apply only to the project for which they are made.

Once a Love’s Vision creation or other published work has been completed and distributed, anonymity cannot be added retroactively. However, you are always welcome to request anonymity for any future use of your content that has not yet entered production. (Note: For paid ads and public tagging, see Section 5.)

4. Content Guidelines — All submissions must reflect Love in Every Face’s mission of revealing the love and kindness shared with each other. Content must not include:

  • Sexually explicit, violent, discriminatory, or offensive material.
  • Copyrighted material without permission to share it.
  • Submissions featuring minors without explicit parental or guardian consent.

Love in Every Face reserves the right to decline or remove any submission that does not align with these guidelines.

5. Additional Consent for Paid Advertising and Tagging — Love in Every Face values consent as an ongoing process. By submitting content, you grant permission for us to include your likeness in Love’s Vision presentations and related mission-based uses (including our website, newsletters, and organic social media posts). These uses are covered by the license in Section 2 and cannot be withdrawn once published.

For paid advertising, sponsored posts, or public tagging, we may contact you directly before featuring your image or likeness in such contexts. At that time, you may confirm or decline participation in those specific advertising or tagging uses. Declining advertising consent will not affect our right to continue using your content in Love’s Vision presentations and other non-advertising, mission-related uses already permitted.

6. Content Selection, Retention, and Creative Use — All submissions are thoughtfully reviewed and are never automatically published. While not all contributions will be used immediately, they may be securely retained for future consideration based on creative needs.

You may request that your submission not be used in future works, and we will make every effort to honor such requests for unpublished material. However, once your content appears in a published work, that use is considered final.

Love in Every Face may make reasonable adjustments to submissions for creative or technical purposes while honoring their original essence and intent. These adjustments may include:

  • Photos & Artwork: Cropping, resizing, or formatting for visual consistency.
  • Music: Trimming or looping to fit timing without altering its spirit.
  • Stories or Writings: Editing for clarity, flow, or length, or integrating excerpts into collective works.
  • Collaborative Narratives: Blending stories, images, and music from multiple contributors to reflect love’s presence across diverse lives.
  • Creative Tools: Digital or AI-assisted formatting guided by human care and alignment with Love in Every Face’s mission.

7. Rights, Responsibilities, and Indemnification — You represent and warrant that you own all rights to the content submitted or have obtained appropriate permissions from copyright holders and individuals depicted. You agree not to submit content that infringes on the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party. You affirm that the permissions and rights granted herein are valid and enforceable in your place of residence.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Love in Every Face, its affiliates, staff, volunteers, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your submission, except to the extent caused by Love in Every Face’s own negligence or misconduct.

8. Privacy and Data Use — Love in Every Face respects your privacy. Your personal information will be used only to:

  • Communicate with you about your submission.
  • Credit you (if applicable) and manage your permissions.
  • Send you updates about Love in Every Face and our newsletter Reveal the Miracle (you may unsubscribe at any time).

9. Release of Liability — By submitting content, you release and hold harmless Love in Every Face, its affiliates, staff, volunteers, and partners from any claims, demands, or causes of action arising from the use of your content, likeness, name, or identity, consistent with the permissions granted herein.

10. Governing Law and Venue — These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will ordinarily be handled in the state or federal courts of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, unless another location is required by law or agreed upon by both parties.

11. Agreement to Terms and Contact Information — By submitting your content, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Plain Words

By sharing your love, you’re allowing us to reflect it through our creations—on our website, in social media, and in Love’s Vision presentations. Once your content appears in a presentation, that permission is permanent. If we’d like to use your image or name in a paid ad or public tagging, we’ll always ask first. You may remain anonymous if you wish, and your creations still help reveal the love that unites us all.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will apply to submissions made after the “Last revised” date shown above.
