Like many of us, Larry and Marci’s lives have been shaped by the beautiful, often complex realities of human relationships. Through seasons of raising a family, building careers, and navigating both the ordinary and extraordinary moments of life, they experienced their own share of joy, misunderstanding, loss, and growth. Along the way, they both harbored a deep desire to understand what truly connects us beneath the surface of our differences.

Their individual journeys laid a quiet foundation for what was to come. Marci’s life experiences deeply informed her understanding of identity, belonging, and the universal longing we all carry to know where we come from. Meanwhile, Larry’s seasons of leadership and responsibility taught him a profound lesson: outward success alone rarely satisfies the deeper hunger of the heart. Together, they learned to balance practicality with a growing, shared vision.

The catalyst for this shared vision took shape in the early 2010s. As a new social media user, Larry observed the growing online division between people. He noticed how often we try to convince others of our own rightness, leading to impasse after impasse. Realizing that debate alone would never bridge the gap, he asked himself a simple question: Is there anything that people could actually agree on? The answer that surfaced was Love. They saw that division thrives when the world focuses on outward appearances—not just physical differences, but opposing beliefs, rigid attitudes, and conflicting opinions. However, they also realized that something transformative shifts when we pause long enough to truly see one another beneath those layers. While there are many beautiful ways to explore and teach about Love, they felt called to a quieter path: recognizing it as a presence that simply needs to be revealed.

The seed for how to reveal it—and the organization’s very name—was planted during a quiet evening at home. Larry and Marci were watching a collection of everyday photos scroll by on a screen while listening to heart-opening music. Moved by the experience, they looked at each other and agreed, “Wow, you can really see the love in everyone’s face.” Combining Larry’s organizational vision with Marci’s warmth and creative intuition, they set out to build a space dedicated to that exact experience. They carefully crafted Love in Every Face not to persuade, but to illuminate Love through lived moments, imagery, and story, building a sustainable community where others could safely join in this simple act of noticing.

Today, their life and their work are intimately intertwined, part of the same unfolding story. As they continue to steward this organization, they remain anchored by a single, guiding question: What do we see when we look with Love? Through every project, image, and shared moment, they extend that exact same invitation to you.
