Why We Became a Nonprofit
When we first launched LiEF, we operated as a for-profit LLC. However, we quickly realized that to stay true to our purpose, we needed to remove the profit motive entirely. That’s why we restructured as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit—so every action, every dollar, and every effort goes directly toward spreading Love’s message.
